How to Replace Property Sidebar Widgets with Reusable Blocks
As the widgets are slowly being phased out and retired, Reusable Blocks (and later Block Patterns) are taking their place.
As our plugin – WP Property Drive – is keeping up with the latest developments, here’s a short tutorial on how to replace the property page sidebar with a Reusable Block.
Currently, the native WP Property Drive widgets are Property Agent Box, Property Location Box and Property Tabstrip.
Replacing them is as easy as going to Property Drive section → Design → Property Brochure Settings → Property Sidebar Reusable Block and picking (or creating) a Reusable Block.
Next, replace the widgets above with the following shortcodes:
[property-get-agent]
[property-get-map]
[[property-get-tabstrip]]
Note that this marks the last phase in our migration from widgets to Reusable Blocks.
