# How to add an event to WooCommerce using the Step-By-Step Ordering System

## WooCommerce Back-end (WordPress Dashboard)

Go to your WooCommerce website and add a new product from **Products** -> **Add New.**

Select and tick the **Events** sub-category (not the category itself, as that one is used for the Step-By-Step Ordering System).

Next, add a concise title, a brief description and a featured image:

Next, set up the product as a free, virtual, unique product in the **Product Data** section. This settings will allow this product to be attached to any shopping cart and allow you, as a store owner, to identify a specific event.

That’s it! Now publish your product and you are ready!

## WooCommerce Front-end (Public)

After the steps above have been completed, your public store will display your events in a separate section:

Clicking on **Select** will select this event. Clicking on **Learn More** will display a popup with a brief description:

After selecting the desired event and adding a few products to your shopping cart, the **Checkout** section will look like this:

Enjoy!
